A Bit About Us

Due to recent events, co-founders, Riley Lewers and Cora Bern-Klug decided to take action. The ProtecTee idea was born in early February 2017 and with the help of their good friends Ella Ostegaard and Natalie Maves, the ProtecTee project began! All proceeds from tee sales go directly to Bur Oak Land Trust. A Johnson County land trust that conserves private lands to promote and preserve Iowa's natural lands.

Both Cora and Riley are freshman at the University of Iowa. Cora is studying Environmental Planning and Management with a minor in Spanish. Riley is a Political Science and Economics major. Despite beginning the project starting on campus, we are hoping to extend to all of Iowa City and Johnson County.
